We all know how hard it is to even get half the group chat together for a beer these days so how the hell are you meant to come up with a list of ideas, activities and and a timeline that’s going to be a lifetime memory for the Buck and the lads?? Where do you even start??

- Crash somewhere close and plan the vibe – Grab a place in Surfers or Broadbeach so you’re right where the party’s at. Also have a think about how much time you and the lads are gonna spend at the hotel/house. If you’re planning on packing in a shit load of activities and running around all weekend, don’t spend as much on some crazy mini-mansion or penthouse. But if your going to drink and hang out between activities and want some fried late night kick on vibes and a place to recover comfortably the day after, then invest in a good space for those multi-room wandering 4am kitchen vibes.
- Mix it up – It’s impossible to please everyone in the group so don’t waste days and hours trying to tick every box. If the group is hard to please a safe bet is to plan some variety and mix the weekend up so there’s something for everyone. Throw in some full on activities like jet skiing, paint balling or go-karting, but balance it with some downtime at the beach or a brewery hop. Big tip is pick at least one thing that you KNOW the buck will love or even better, hate. Nothing brings the boys closer more than seeing someone they care about suffer.
- Get the lads on a boat – Stuck for ideas to even get started?? Or is the group chat being difficult as fuck?? Safe bet is to pick the single most popular Bucks Party activity on the Gold Coast, a cruise on a party boat. It’s the perfect activity for almost any group type. The right boat and crew can do anything from a chilled Sunday arvo cruise around the Broadwater with some ice cold beers and tunes, right up to full blown Friday night sesh with multiple waitresses entertaining the boys, poker tables with ‘special’ dealers, full BBQ or seafood buffet and any other entertainment your filthy mind can come up with. The only person that could have an issue enjoying this idea is probably a husband of one of the bridesmaids and who cares about that bloke anyway???
- Transport AKA “Who’s getting the Uber?” – Who hasn’t been stuck at pre-drinks or on the side of the street with the boys when the classic “Who’s got the uber?” Line comes up??? We all know how hard this derails plans and causes delays and frustrations. Now imagine this issue times 100x when you’re trying to move 20 cooked blokes from A to B to C to D back to A then onto E…. Then 3 lads split off and get their own Uber and end up 2hrs south of Byron with a bunch of Brazilians whilst the rest of the crew is 30 seconds away from missing check in on the party boat. Basically what we’re trying to say is get transport for the whole weekend locked early. - Plan for the hangover – We all know your going to screw up and send it too hard on Friday night and then struggle to make that 8am tee time some dickhead booked cause he’s unhappy with his marriage. It’s super easy to get excited and book as many activities as you can but if you give yourself just the right amount of time to recover and reset in the mornings, you’ll maintain the mood and group morale the whole weekend. Don’t listen to the advice of that corporate mate in his RM boots, he’s gonna be the first one to crash after day 1 so spend that organised recovery time to fuck with him whilst he is passed out.
